Q: What do I need to bring?

A: Suitable outdoor clothing including wet weather gear, a change of clothes and footwear, a towel if you are only coming for the day and any special medication that you may require.

Q: How fit do I have to be?

A: Moderate fitness is required. Refer to health and safety document

Q: What qualifications do the staff have?

A: All are trained in first aid, instructors manning abseil sites or any rope challenges will have mountain safety council (MSC) or New Zealand Outdoor Instructors Association (NZOIA) training. Instructors of Claybird or Small Bore Rifle shooting will hold a firearms license. Click here to meet the team.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: Our costs range from $25 - $115 activities per person, please request our Activity Description and cost document

Q: Do you have credit card facility?

A: We accept cheques or internet banking. We do have a manual credit card facility which also allows payment by phone (eg. for deposits).

Q: Is booking necessary?

Q: How far in advance should I book?

A: This will depend on numbers and complexity of the activity, but generally a minimum of 3 days.

A: Spring and Autumn

Q: Is a deposit required?

A: Yes - 20% of the total price.

Q: What, if any, are the cancellation charges?

A: Your deposit is non-refundable, but reusable. If participant numbers change or booked activities are cancelled within 7 days of the booked date please be aware you may be charged the full amount quoted

A: No smoking in the buildings.

Q: I have special needs. Are you able to accommodate me?

A: We have wheel chair access for shower and toilet as well as access to our accommodation and conference room. Discuss with us your individual situation to find out what activities could be suitable for you.
